Welcome to Rebel Hill Farm

Thank You for finding us!

We are Julie and Pete Beckford. We grow certified organic field-grown perennials in Liberty, Maine.  Our specialty is native plants.

This new website and many pick-up orders helped us through the first pandemic spring. Thank you! Interest in native plants is a great, hopeful change in Maine.

Our plants are exceptional in quality.  We have been doing this for 30 years. The plants are field-grown and overwintered in the ground. They get dug and potted in the spring, so what you get is necessarily hardy, healthy, and robust. Most plants are in gallon size pots or six inch pots. They do not need to be planted right away. We are committed to ecological health in both how we grow plants and what we grow.

After a busy spring and summer, our garden is once again stuffed full of gorgeous native plants. Feel free to order for fall 2022 planting. You can also use the Availability List to select plants to pre-order for our two public fall sales. We will be at the Native Gardens of Blue Hill on Sept. 11 and in Camden at the public library on Sept. 18. Pre-orders for those sales are especially useful because we will not be bringing as wide a variety of plants as we do for spring sales. As always, look our list over, then place your order by giving us a call. Thanks for planting natives!

We will take your order (and talk about plants if you want). If you reach our voice mail, leave a brief message and we will call you back. Together we will arrange a pick-up time at our farm, or, if a few people order from your area, we will deliver orders. At the pick-up, you will need to pay us in exact change or with a check. We will practice physical distancing.

$11.50 (Includes sales tax. We will buy our pots back for 50 cents each if they are rinsed clean as new.)
There may be a few exceptions to this price.

We are a small farm.  Availability is limited and we will fill orders on a first come-first served basis.
