Welcome to Rebel Hill Farm
Thank You for finding us!
We are Julie and Pete Beckford. We grow certified organic field-grown perennials in Liberty, Maine. Our specialty is native plants.
This new website and many pick-up orders helped us through the first pandemic spring. Thank you! Interest in native plants is a great, hopeful change in Maine.
Our plants are exceptional in quality. We have been doing this for 30 years. The plants are field-grown and overwintered in the ground. They get dug and potted in the spring, so what you get is necessarily hardy, healthy, and robust. Most plants are in gallon size pots or six inch pots. They do not need to be planted right away. We are committed to ecological health in both how we grow plants and what we grow.
The following Native Notes document is a descriptive list of native plants that we sell. Most but not all are available in 2021.

We also have a shorter “Availability List” version of our list
which includes perennial medicinal and culinary herbs,
in addition to the native plants..
